I have cultivated a career in journalism over the last decade, receiving my BA in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies from Cal State University-San Bernardino in 2018. I have contributed articles and copy editing expertise to Southern California publications like the Los Angeles Times, The Desert Sun, Palm Springs Life, Coachella Magazine, Borrowing Tape, LOCALE Magazine, and Desert Health.
I currently work as Head Feature Writer for Coachella Valley Weekly, where I contribute articles to be published online on a weekly basis. Most notably, I have covered current events, lifestyle, and cultural aspects of the Coachella Valley—amassing to over one hundred thousand cumulative page views. I am also a reporter for the Hi-Desert Star newspaper based in Yucca Valley, CA, where I cover local news pertaining to the Morongo Basin.
Writing is what I love to do and where most of my passion manifests. I am thankful to take part in a career that enables me to utilize my skills and interests in a professional setting. I strive to broaden my professional portfolio with stories that uphold a degree of quality, accuracy, and relevance.
The answer to all writing, to any career for that matter, is love.
